More than just a "dog photographer," I see myself as a relationship photographer! Nothing is more important in this world than relationships. I'm interested in capturing all kinds of relationships, but I mainly focus on how people and their dogs interact with each other. I love making photos that are not just beautiful, but those that exude an authentic feeling—something anyone can absolutely feel just by seeing that special photo. I love watching life happen and freezing a moment it in its split-second perfection.
I've always had a love for animals. I currently have 2 dogs of my own and a special-needs foster named Blue (he's looking for the perfect family!). I also keep an teenager alive. We all live in a weee house in Atlantic Beach, Fla., and enjoy going to the beach often.
When I'm not making photos, I publish Jacksonville's only dog magazine, Unleash Jacksonville. Hmmm... there seems to be some kind of dog theme going on in my life.
A little about my shoots
I'm definitely most interested in capturing your story, and I will actually ask you not to look at the camera ... unless I request that you do! People tend to think they need to wait for the right time, to lose five pounds, or to have a totally trained dog to get a great photo ... that may be true for some types of photography, but I photograph real life. Perfection is boring. If your dog acts like a dingus when he sees birds on the beach—I would for sure like to capture that. Our shoots are fun, laid back, and as natural as possible. Who wants to be stressed out? Not me. And I'd rather not stress out your favorite little four-legger either. You be you, and I'll take it from there.
